Obviously we have had some big things happen recently (like getting married!). Life is so wonderful and we couldn't be happier. Cal wants to blog about our whirlwind wedding, so you'll have to hang tight for now.
In other big news... I decided on a graduate school! Some of you already know this, so you might just want to skip this blog post...
I've accepted the University of Utah's offer for the Master's of Science, Speech-Language Pathology program. I seriously could not be more thrilled. I cannot wait to begin in the fall.
Obviously a lot has been done to lay the foundation for school next fall. Such as...
1. I have been working to get a job at the University of Utah hospital. The job I want is AMAZING and would include doing research with a otolaryngologist and a speech-language pathologist in voice disorders. Talking with the otolaryngologist about the studies being done made me so excited that I couldn't stop smiling for at least an hour. Hopefully it works out!
2. I have been appointed to the ASUU Supreme Court. Sounds pretty awesome, right? The title "Supreme Court Justice" might possibly sound better than it is... Possibly.
3. Spending as much time as possible with Cal. My poor husband (still sounds odd...) is going to be partially losing me to graduate school next year.
Yay for being a Ute, studying at one of the best programs in the West and studying under the professors I admire so much. (Continuing to attend Utah Athletic events as a student is also a huge plus :))
