We love Harry Potter. A lot.
We both grew up reading the books and instantly bonded over our love for the HP books. In fact, while dating we even read HP while laying in bed next to each other.
Funny story... Our first year dating/hang out/making out, I went to a HP movie at midnight on opening night w/ some of my closest friends. We all dressed up, too. I was Luna :) After seeing the movie with my friends, I came home and dropped by CBF's condo for a non-committal make out sesh. Little did we know that soon we would make it semi-committal by dating.

This year, CBF and I dragged our old bodies to HP 7.1 at midnight on the opening night. (I know that HP 7.1 is mathematically incorrect... I just like how it looks. Haha.)
I had exams coming up, hence the notes in the photo below. We loveeed the movie. It was certainly different than the book, but we didn't mind (especially since we haven't read the book in a bit). Mostly it's fun to watch one of your favorite books come to life.

Also, hood up = concentration mode. I was in the studying zone pre-HP 7.1
Love: Date nights out w/ my husband.
Despise: Early mornings following late nights out. (Totally worth it, though!!!)
I work for HP - as in Hewlett Packard - right? Well sometimes people are like "HP, what's that?" I act totally serious and say: HARRY POTTER duh!!! And they believe me.

Oh my goodness, Candace! Do people really do/say that? Whenever I hear HP I honestly think of Hewlet Packard, not Harry Potter. That is crazy! I love your life, too. And I love you! Let's pleaseee play soon.
