Thesis Eve

Earlier, one of my very good friends text me and said, "Happy Thesis Eve!"

My heart stopped.

Two and a half years of hard work is about to come to end. (I started working on my thesis the summer before I began my Master's.)

I've been preparing for April 27th with mixed feelings. Excited about explaining and defending my research, while simultaneously fearful the horrifyingly hard questions I will face from my committee.

Well, the day is almost here. The time has been moved from the afternoon to the morning (thankfully - I'm glad to get it out of the way instead of waiting for it to happen). I defend at 10:30am and would sincerely appreciate all of your good thoughts/prayers. I'm sure it will be a long, but fast, two hours.

One thing is for sure - I am excited to finally wrap this thing up and soak in some much needed R&R with the husband!
