Hello Again, Exhaustion

The past few days have been busy ones for us here at the Peterson-Fry household.

I've been working every day at a hospital as a speech-language pathologist. In fact, I just got my very first pay check for clinical work in my life. Woohoo! Soon the SLP I'm filling in for will be back, which is good because I really need to do some more preparing for this move!

C has been working on his summer math class for his MBA. There are a total of 25 lectures he has to listen to, and then a quiz at the end of each lecture. While I've been working long hours, he's been working + taking a course. What a superstar.

On the evening of the 4th we were just a bit tired (insert sarcasm). I had worked far too many hours on the 4th, and C had been taking quiz after quiz after quiz. We decided to do the ultimate American activity that night: sit on our bums and watch TV. We watched Independence Day. We're so American. We also spent some time outside in the evening hanging out just the two of us.

Not to mention the addition of our little man, Whit. He officially joined our family last Thursday, and it's been an adventure since then. He sleeps pretty well, but I can tell you I am already longing for last Saturday where I was able to sleep in until 8am. 6am on a Saturday is FAR too early for my taste.
