Goodness, it has been some time... I blame school, ASUU, the GRE, and wedding plans. Luckily, I'm enjoying all of those things (minus the GRE... does anyone really love standardized tests?).
Last weekend Cal and I took our engagement photos! Crazy! It seemed so surreal while we were doing it... this wedding stuff is really starting to unfold. Dustin Izatt is our photographer, and he is nothing short of amazing. I seriously love the work he does. He did the wedding photography for some of our favorite friends, Alyssa and Mike, and after seeing their photos and meeting Dustin at their wedding, I knew I had to have him as our photographer. I love it when people are beyond amazing at their jobs -- it makes life so much easier!
After our engagement photos, Cal and I ran (literally -- we hurried as fast as we could!) to the University of Utah football game. It is super fun sitting next to Cal during games... he get so into the games and I feed off of his energy. Tomorrow, our Utes take on TCU, and we're super excited to watch the game! TCU is expected to beat us by 20 points, but let's be serious... that's total crap. Hmm... I'm starting to notice that a lot of my posts involve U of U football... I'm not obsessed or anything. I swear.
The GRE is done and it feels awesome. I scored above what I needed to, so I'm sooo relieved. I'm now just waiting to get my writing score back. One more step of applying to graduate school is done! I cannot wait to be in graduate school. I'm seriously so excited!
Well, it's Friday afternoon, and I'm so excited for Cal to get home from work. Let the weekend fun begin!
