Sold

I feel as if I sold something invaluable to me this afternoon. I was under the impression that invaluable things did not have price tags... I guess this thing did. There was a dollar amount attached to it, as well as another person's happiness. 

I feel terrible.

The only thing thing that brings comfort is that I think I made a decision that will make the largest number of people happy. Shouldn't that bring some feeling of peace? Maybe tomorrow.
