Caerlaverock, Scotland

Caerlaverock Castle is our (my family's) favorite castle in the United Kingdom. One time, when I said that to someone, they thought I meant it was our favorite castle out of all the castles we owned.

Well, friends, my family does fine for itself monetarily, but we're not talking buying castles fine. (Although, I have asked for one before. In fact, I asked for a beautiful one in Wales -- see below. We found it while picking up our dog Kola from the breeder. Let's be honest though, I've also asked my father for Bentley, a horse, and a plethora of other ridiculous items.)

Beautiful, right? I mean, how could I NOT ask for it?! I know, I sound spoiled...

Moving on...

When in the UK, my family took CBF to see our fav castle. It's our fav for many, many reasons.

1. You you can take Kola into it.
2. Other people are rarely there (it's hard to find)
3. There are so many places to hide during a hide and seek game
4. You can run around and play tag
5. You can climb the walls (if you're strong... I am not)
6. You can get amazing pictures.

Basically, if we were to buy a castle, assuming the government would be willing to sell it, this would probably be the one we would buy. We just love it.

Here are some photos. Enjoy!

CBF LOVES Kola. Kola is his favorite dog ever and he loved playing with him 24/7 in England.

The whole fam (minus Nate) at our favorite castle. It was freeeeeezing!
