Two Months in Review

The last few months have been CRAZY. Here is a review according to my iPhone...

1. Nathan is getting married to Katie Butters. Super exciting. As such, the quest for the right wedding attire has become a never ending task. Trying to find something I like online (there are NO good stores in Champaign) for myself and trying to help my mom find mother of the bride/groom dresses. Whats up with the ugly mother of the bride/groom outfits online? Here are a few of my options... Let me know your favorite/thoughts.

a) Love this skirt from J.Crew.
b, c, & d) I'm loving lace right now... Here are some options from Nordstrom...

2. I've also recently taken up some family history. I have been really enjoying it. It has allowed me to really reflect on my heritage. My Opa did a lot of genealogy after he retired, and I like to think that I'm adding to his work. Picture of my Opa and Oma sailing.

3. Cold walks outside with Whitter. They make Whit so happy, but make my hands so blue.

4. Puppy training classes. Whit has been doing so well, but he is easily the worst dog in the class. Well... the second to worst dog. Haha. He's apparently at a very bad age for training... We will probably have to retake the class, but that's okay.

5. Playing Xbox Kinect when at home with the family. This makes me want to own an Xbox and buy a Kinect.

6. Spending time at home with my family. Playing with the dogs, sledding, eating family dinner... You name it, it makes me happy. I simply love my family.

7. Dealing with creep facebook. A person named "Kelli Jorgensen" on facebook is apparently really a guy, but I was notified that his/her facebook cover photo was of me and some friends. Ew. So I private messaged Kelli, and asked her/him to remove it. Here's the response. Basically he/she is refusing to take it down... So naturally I reported it to facebook.

8. New running routine. It has been glorious. Since I've switched jobs and now work so much closer to home, I've been able to focus on hobbies more. I've been running a lot more lately, and plan to steadily increase my mileage. Week 1 is done!

9. Epic "To Do" lists. Oh man... The lists never end. Since Callen is sooo busy in school, I've been completing my work, the house work, and all the other day-to-day tasks. I don't mind though, it's allowing my man to get straight As.

10. Alex and Mom visited. It was SO fun and I miss them so much already.

  2. I love this post! By the way, my vote is for dress "d". You would look bangin' (is that appropriate to say? probably not. oh well) in it!
