First House Guest

We had our first house guest this week. Mike came to the University of Illinois for a couple days and stayed with us. We had so much fun!

We FaceTimed with his sweet wife (and one of my best friends, Lyss) and got to meet their sweet baby Charlotte. She is such a beautiful baby girl!

Last night I made dinner for the guys. We then went to the U of I basketball game (apparently they're pretty good... I'm more of a football girl...). I forgot how much I liked watching basketball! It was fun listening to the students sing their school songs.

I am super hopeful, prayerful, fingers crossed, and holding my breath that Mikey and Lyssa might be living closer to us next year. Although we have some awesome friends here, I can't help but get excited about one of our fav couples possibly moving here.

We cannot wait for this weekend. Even though it's the weekend before CBF's finals and he's going to be super busy, I'm still looking forward to sleeping in with my man.

Also, look out for a post this weekend including pictures of our cute little apartment. Although our little two bedroom place is small, it is just where we're meant to be right now.
