I'm pretty sure that summer long weekends are one of my favorite things. Ever.We did loads this weekend and are ready to hit the ground running for the week!
This weekend we...
-Went to Gracie's (CBF flew solo on this one)
-Went to Lisa's goodbye party at Green Street
-Had a bbq with old friends
-Ran into some of our fav married friends up in Bountiful, Mike & Alyssa
-Watched the fireworks with Mike & Lyss and had a lesson from Mike on the proper names for various fireworks (ex. The Weeping Willow)
-Went to church and felt grateful for our safety and health
-Had dessert with some of our fav engaged friends, Jordan and Brad
-Attempted to watch fireworks at a park out West (attempted = drove by and then drove home... I was a little too sketched out)
-Went up to the Aves and watched the fireworks
-Ate muddie buddies/poppy chow that J made.... mmm
-Saw two movies (dollar theater... woo woo!)
-Slept in until 10:30 on Monday... amazing
-Ran errands
-Ate a picnic in the park
-Got some much needed S U N
-Went shopping
-Baked and cooked it up (who knew I would become so domestic... I love baking and I am beginning to enjoy cooking)
-Ate, ate & ate!
I so love long weekends. The 24th long weekend cannot come fast enough (minus that I turn 23 on the 25th of July... 23 is my unlucky number... eek!)

Thanks for the shout out Liz! Me and Brad always LOVE hanging out with you and Cal (you're our favorite married friends!)...so much fun! Those stupid muddy buddies stayed in my fridge and they are, well, gone now. I should have left them in the car!
