Off to a Good Start

Mornings are my "get it done" time of the day. I'm usually most productive, but not always the most cheerful. Today is different.

Today is off to a good start. An extra good start.

1. I woke up from a wonderful dream. This is always a good sign.
2. I climbed out of bed, and my back is about a million times less sore than it was yesterday. Score! (I am an idiot and pulled something in my back with all of the moving/packing this weekend. Me = weakling.)
3. I met with the thesis editor at 9am. She told me over the phone yesterday that there were more "minor changes". Well, there's actually only one change - which is her fault because she initially told me to make it - and then she stamped my thesis with a brilliant red stamp and gave me thesis approval. AHH! I can officially graduate!
4. I received an email from a future employer telling me to upload my resume because a position was approved for me! (A PRN job in SLC for the summer. Helloooo additional cash!)
5. Whit's breeder contacted me, and we get to go meet him tomorrow. Tomorrow!!! I also learned that our boy is now walking and his beautiful blue eyes are open. Seriously, my heart is overwhelmed with joy.

I'm hoping this good cheer/luck follows me into the afternoon and to tomorrow. This afternoon I am having a meeting via telephone with a possible PhD advisor in Illinois. This is assuming I choose to do a PhD there... As the advisor doesn't study my one true love (voice)... But it might still work out. I'll update when we know what I'm doing with my future. Then tomorrow AM I have a telephone interview for a PRN position in Illinois.

A busy little 24 hours, I tell you! Busy, but fabulous.

(PS: Glad all enjoyed the picture of my Timberland's. At one point in time in my life I thought I was pretty gangster... Until my dad informed me that I would not stand a chance if forced to live the rough life. How right he was and still is!)
