Papa pulled through the surgery just fine, and we could not be more relieved. We went to go visit him yesterday and he is looking fabulous. Goodness, I love that Papa of mine.
On Monday my youngest brother let me give him a buzz cut for football. My first time ever cutting hair, and I don't think it turned out too badly if I do say so myself. That doesn't mean Alex necessarily likes it... It's a football thing, so he did it with the rest of his team. But I think he misses his longer hair. In fact, to take this photo I had to hide in the house and snap this shot 007 style.
Alex does look quite a bit different though... It makes him look older (I think). Probably because his head looks so much smaller now, which makes his body looks even bigger.
My papa's first words yesterday when he saw Alex: "Who the hell are you?"
Love that dry wit.
